SPATIAL BRANDING

SEKO Logistics are a longstanding client of Shine Creative, and over the years we have worked with them on numerous projects to support their growth strategy. Recently, we embarked on a significant global facility branding project, which included a makeover of the UK flagship facility in Milton Keynes.

SEKO Office Branding

The Why

We were invited to review SEKO’s facility branding and to propose a number of warehouse and office design solutions, to give further clarity to the brand and to support the varying sizes of facilities globally. We kicked off the project by addressing the UK flagship facility in Milton Keynes, where the requirement was extensive – including designs for exterior and interior offices and interior warehouse space.

The brief was to create a flexible solution that would both be practical and visually arresting across numerous different locations within the facility. Practicality needed to be considered, to ensure the new graphics would not disrupt the working environment – while visual impact was vital due to the sheer scale of warehouse, to prevent the new signage from getting ‘lost in the distance’.

Once completed, we then looked to develop a master office branding toolkit for SEKO’s 120+ worldwide offices, to bring global partners and agents together as one unified and professional brand. The aim was for visitors, at a quick glance, to understand the company’s ethos, its core services, IT solutions and strength of reputation.

The What

Our aim was to design elements that clearly portrayed SEKO’s values, whilst also informing visitors about their vast global scope and unique industry standing. Each of the graphics we designed had a purpose, playing a strategic role in the visual journey which subsequently ensured that all visitors would be presented with valuable and engaging information – communicated clearly and effectively during their time with SEKO.

We first created a series of low cost framed posters, plus a more professional high-end framing solution for conference rooms and reception areas. The toolkit also contained various sets of wall art in different sizes (some up to 4m wide!) with guidelines for exterior signage, and large-format hanging banners for warehouse racking and support columns. We also offered flexible customised options so each local facility could select graphics that truly represented their core services.

SEKO Office Branding

The project involved liaising with the manufacturer on pricing and ordering processes, to ensure the client could place orders and coordinate deliveries as seamlessly as possible. It was also supported with a global email campaign launching the initiative to all offices. Lastly, we visited the US to develop bespoke solutions for the Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Philadelphia offices, as well as the global headquarters in Chicago – with more to follow.

The project was completed within the required 10 days, in line with SEKO’s stringent time restrictions. Since completion, SEKO have already shown several of its high-end fashion clients around the facility, all of whom have been impressed with the professionalism of the branding – leaving with an even better understanding of what makes SEKO so unique in their field.

The Milton Keynes site is now being used across the business as an exemplar location – showcasing the highest branding standards, for other countries to follow.
