AbilityNet
Having grown from being a small charity
to a much larger organisation running ten centres
throughout the UK, AbilityNet asked us to evolve their
existing established identity (which had originally
been created by us) into a fresher look which was
‘clean and accessible’. We researched
colour visibility, layout, font size and structure
to ensure that all corporate and marketing material
was accessible to a large percentage of people with
disabilities – and then created a range of items
including stationery, corporate collateral, information
leaflets, exhibition banners and advertising.
AbilityNet provide the most comprehensive range of
services on the use of information technology to be
offered from a single organisation, to people with
all types of disabling conditions anywhere in the
UK. This includes free information and advice, individual
assessment of technology needs, the supply of assistive
technology with free support and a programme of awareness,
education and consultancy for employers on system
and workstation adaptations to suit the requirements
of disabled computer-users.
