There are many benefits to working in one of the most picturesque villages in Hampshire. Nothing can be more 'quintessentially English' than cricket on the village green, and we made sure we took full advantage!
This year's Nick Pothas Benefit Match took place on Friday 29th July and it's always guaranteed to be a good old community get-together. Ickle dragged us along (kicking and screaming of course!) to watch Hampshire CCC play the local Hartley Wintney team in a 20/20 match for the benefit of Nick Pothas ("Skeg"), who at 37 is Hampshire's leading wicketkeeper/batsman of all time.
The cricket was great - but the bucket of Pimms was even better!
